Payment and Insurance

The following forms of insurance are accepted for general mental health services. Please note, insurance companies usually do not pay for adoptive parent psychological evaluation because they are not considered medically necessary or telephone services are not covered.  In many cases, health savings accounts WILL cover the evaluation.  A receipt will be provided to you to submit to your insurance.  If you live local to the NYC area and can come to the offfice, we have more insurance options.

Adoption Psych Eval Payment

Payment for evaluations along with completed paperwork is required prior to your appointment. Payment may be made by Postal Money order, certified check, or thru a Paypal account (credit cards, bank transfers).  Schedule your psych eval now and have your report IN your hands in a week (sometimes less!)

 


Psychological Evaluations for prospective adoptive parents begin at just $370 for single parents ($470 - $570 for couples). 2 notarized reports with doctors license are included.  Certification and Apostilles are $90.  Psychological Testing is available for $200-$400 per person, depending on the test required.  Apostilled reports are usually received around 14 days from time of interview.  Expedited service (3-5 day turnaround) is available.  Please call or email for other services.
New Yorkers who worked in or around the World Trade Center on September 11th, or family members who lost a loved one, may be eligible for mental health benfits through The September 11th fund.  Call 1-800-Lifenet for more information.
Cancellation Policy
24 hours advance notice is required to cancel appointments. Insurance companies cannot be billed for missed or cancelled appointments. Patients are responsible for payment of the full fee for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance.
